On the 2nd of May 2012 we had the honour of presenting one of our CEDRICS Somerset Cider and Apple Cakes to Her Majesty The Queen.
Homemade by hand in small batches available only from us.
Our wonderful rich cake, it is also suitable as a dinner party pudding, served with copious amounts of clotted cream. The 7" cake will give approximately 6 to 8 portions. Our rich Somerset Cider and Apple Cake recipe is one which we have treasured! Handed down through the generations all having lived in Somerset. Rich, Sweet and moist it is the very essence of Somerset at its best.
CEDRICS Somerset Cider and Apple Cake is ONLY available from us. No where else will you be able to purchase our cake. We DO NOT make cakes for anyone else. You are welcome to visit us and pick up your cake as always should you be passing. If you would prefere we now post, even World Wide! Plump sultanas, Free range eggs and wholesome ingredients are always used, cooked as you would in your own home.
